This week, we’re very excited to welcome Jérémy Tanasi to the team as our new Intern.
Originally from Martinique – an island in the Caribbean – Jérémy is a Computer Science student at L’AMEP Martinique and has taken two months off to came to London and gain some awesome work experience here at Cowork Hub.
Besides putting his talent towards helping us with some strategies and campaigns, Jérémy will also be working with our very own coworker Alex Pemberton, from Socios Media.
As Jérémy is really hands on, after getting familiar with his new working environment, we got him to write a quick blog on how his first day went.
It took me about 50min to get here from my home this morning. I took the train and I arrived a little before 9:00am.
After saying hello to Alex, Cowork Hub’s founder and Director and getting a tour of the place, I was placed with the Receptionist Nneka who told me pretty much all I need to know about the business.
Learning new skills
Later, I attended the workshop “Sales & Presentation Skills” as part of the Start, Scale, Grow initiative, which is offering a range of free workshops led by industry experts and Cowork Hub is hosting several of them until late July.
In the afternoon, I got to do some research on local competition and blogging and so on and went home just before 6pm.
As a native French speaker, I was a bit scared about my first day, given the language barrier. But to be honest, it went down quite nicely and I am very excited about spending my summer here.”
Ps: I’ve failed to mention the most awesome feature of this coworking space: the coffee! It’s superb! Oui,oui!
